Scenographer & Visual Artist

Discover the world of Bissane Al Charif, a Paris-based scenographer and visual artist of Palestinian origin who grew up in Damascus. Trained in architecture at the University of Damascus and in set design at the Nantes School of Architecture in France, she brings a sensitive understanding of space, memory, and narrative to her work. Since 2013, she has collaborated with a range of Arab and European theatre directors as a set, video, and costume designer, while continuing to develop her own multimedia projects that intertwine installation, drawing, and video, creating spaces where personal and collective stories meet.
